You may wonder what you can use custom coins for. The short answer to that question is anything you can imagine. You may use them as business cards, to commemorate family reunions, birthdays, graduations or to simply inspire camaraderie.
The custom challenge coins we produce range in size from 1.56 inches to 4.5 inches. That measurement represents either the longest dimension for special shaped coins or diameter for round coins. You may wonder how these coins sizes measure up to a United States half dollar. A US half dollar measures 1.205 inches in diameter and 2.15mm thick. Our custom challenge coins range in thickness between 3 and 3.5 millimeter. Extra thickness can be added to die-cast coins for NO additional cost.
Challenge coins are usually manufactured in either China or South Korea. South Korean challenge coins are second most expensive behind the United States. One benefit of getting your coin manufactured overseas is the available special features are typically more expansive than those available in the United States. The simple fact of the matter is that there are even some special features that are exclusive to China made custom coins.
I hope I have shed some light on the subject of custom challenge coin manufacturing. Until next time be good to yourselves and each other.
